Lily
Hi! My name is Lily, I rode for 8 years growing up as an english hunter jumper. Ever since I got to college at Appalachian State, I have felt a calling to get back into riding. Elk Mountain Riding Company, has welcomed me with open arms and been a dream come true for someone like me. The horses are the sweetest and the trails are breathtaking. I am studying psychology at Appalachian state university, and love to play guitar in my free time, when I’m not at the barn!

Howdy! My name is Maggie. I grew up here in Western North Carolina and can’t imagine a better place to call home! I was recently introduced to the world of horses through a summer camp in Northern California, where we provided riding lessons and taught basic horsemanship skills. Watching peoples smiling faces as they formed connections with their horses was enough to get me hooked. When I’m not at the barn, I’m probably hiking with my dogs, reading a good book, or singing around a campfire. I look forward to sharing my love for these amazing animals with y’all in such a beautiful area!
